03/31/2012: I didn't get to see Chuck too much on his visit to the bay this time... but I witnessed enough bromance to last the whole weekend, and probably the rest of the month within a couple of hours @ Pandora NRB. Perhaps the most odd NRB I have ever been to, in the most random/ghetto area, with the coolest yet most inconvenient NRB machine, ever. I can't get Uptown Girls out of my head. Guh.
03/29/2012: Last time we had a big get together at Serra it was for Doug's goodbye; this time it was to say goodbye to Serra Bowl. Our home bowling alley will be closing soon, and I'm not sure if the new fancy shmancy Lucky Strikes opening up in the City was a factor, but it won't be the same. I made new friends here, lost loads of bets, danced, done push-ups, and have left without ever remembering leaving. Tears, thanks for the memories!
03/24/2012: Drove up at like 10AM and we were the first customers at Red Robins so that this guy can have a big fat midwestern style burger before his trip to Korea. You're welcome... I had to take a nap in my car for an hour cuz I couldn't move afterwards. We managed to skip the beers.
03/18/2012: Delicious brunch with Aaron's family (sister + bro-in-law) to end the longest weekend, ever. Like... seriously, the longest weekend ever.
03/17/2012: Started St. Patty's this year by grabbing lunch with the Pan's!
Aaron came to visit and (gasp!) actually stayed the weekend. First night out was a chill hang-out at downtown Mountain View. Though I live a mile or two away, I had not yet hung out here at all. It happens to be Aaron’s old hood though, so he was able to direct where to go. Unfortunately, everything was closed….. so we just chilled at this pizza place for some beer.

They were playing a Korean movie called “Always” (오직 그대만) for the SF Asian American Film Festival at Kabuki Theaters. I had to go watch it because So Ji Sup (소지섭) is one of my favorite Korean actors, but discovered Han Hyo Joo (한효주) to be the cutest actor alive. Sigh. We got a group together to watch it together and had a great time.

03/14/2012: I was craving wine tonight... luckily, I have Koun! We got together last minute to catch up and share some wine & cheese @ Bon Viavant Cafe in downtown Palo Alto. We tried a bunch of other places before, but they were all packed for whatever reason- I guess Wednesday is a big wine night? Anyway, it worked out since we found a nice quiet place neither of us have been to. Thanks again for the wine Koun!!
