passed!

may 18, 2009

got a call from the SF office saying a letter had arrived from the CFP(R) board.  i immediately ran over after work to find, indeed, a letter from the board.

phew~ what a relief.  i was also very happy to hear that my co-worker had also passed the same exam; it would have been an awkward celebration had only one of us pass…

i had returned back to life after taking the exam, but the stress and pressure of not knowing the results were still very straining.  it looks like i can back to life for reals now.

e-p-i-k-!

when i found out epik high was coming to SF for a concert, i knew i had to go.  i wasn’t sure if i’d be able to find people to go with but luckly hoon and youngeun came through at the end.  i was expecting a big crowd of koreans… but i wasn’t expecting (and neither was the venue looking at the amount of alcohol they were ready to sell) was to be surrounded be 12 year old girls and boys.   but no worries, i was not intimidated by these kids…

epik high- one

epik high- love love love

after the concert we headed over to fluid lounge for the after party.  i was trying to meet tablo all night to get a picture with him… and after several failed attempts unexpectedly ran into him in the bathroom.  we talked very briefly, got a picture (in the bathroom), and the night was good.  other guys wanted pictures right after me, then once girls realized tablo was in the bathroom he got mobbed.  sorry dude.

me.  tablo.

fireworks for jannet

may 9-10, 2009

actually… the fireworks were not for jannet… but there were fireworks.  SF has an annual fireworks show around this time claimed to be the biggest fireworks in the northbay area.  i say it’s a lie cuz it wasn’t all that impressive,  but it was fireworks nevertheless and it felt good to be out on a nice day in the city to watch a show (a free show!).
