a lot has happened since my last post (which is a bit disappointing considering i was so pumped to start a blog).

first of all, i now have a job. i work for a comprehensive wealth management firm. it’s a very exciting company for me because the firm’s philosophy of managing clients and client assets is very similar to mine. it’s also a comprehensive wealth management firm meaning they have a big picture when it comes to client assets, managing not only investments but also directing taxes, estate planning, insurance, philanthropic giving, etc. hopefully the “comprehensive” part of the firm will eventually allow me to fully put my current education to use and give me a greater understanding of wealth management as a whole.

i have also moved out from aaron and will’s futon to a apt in japantown with chris. special thanks to aaron and will for letting me crash at their place for what probably seemed like forever. i’m going give a good attempt at writing investment logs from what happened in previous weeks, and hopefully i’ll be able to catch up to present times.
